I riffed Hatchet 3 (by Decker Shado)

"Hatchet III" (2013) is the film about horror which continues to tell the tale of Victor Crowley, the evil ghost. BJ McDonnell was the director, which is the third and last installment of the Hatchet film series. Kane Hodder, Zach Galligan, and Danielle Harris star in this film.

The movie follows Crowley the local hunters, and the survivors of previous films as they are hunted down by Crowley. The backstory of Crowley and how he became a vengeful ghost are also explored in the film.

The film's cast and crew did an excellent job in bringing these characters to life. Kane Hodder brought a strong performance to Crowley's role. The effects that were employed by Crowley in bringing the ghost's spectre to life were impressive and added to the film's horror aspect.

One of the highlights of the film was its use of real-world special effects. They were done well and enhanced the terror aspect. The film's pace was well done, which kept the audience on the edge.

The film's downsides are its fact that it repeats the same plot as the other films in the series. The plot was unclear at times, which made it (blog post) difficult to follow.

Overall, I liked "Hatchet III", even though it was quite similar to other entries in Hatchet's film series. Although the film's pacing and effects on the practical side were excellent however, the plot and familiarity of its story was a weak point. This movie is a must-see If you are a fan of the series and you like slasher films.
